I can say my back pain started after my first childbirth. Since then, I can’t sit for long periods, which is not ideal since I have a desk job! Obviously I know I need to be more active, but between my 2 kids and my job, doing exercises for my back tends to fall further and further down my to-do list. What I like about Lombafit Studio is the fact that I can do my sessions early morning before going to work. The exercises are very effective and tailored to my condition. I am also happy to receive a lot of education to help me deal with my pain while at work. I plan to use these tips long after I finish my sessions.

« Je suis contente de recevoir beaucoup d’éducation pour m’aider à gérer mes douleurs au travail. »

Je peux dire que mes douleurs lombaires ont commencé suite à mon premier accouchement. Depuis, j’ai de la difficulté à rester assise pendant longtemps, ce qui n’est pas idéal quand on à un travail de bureau! Je sais bien que je dois être plus active, mais je suis tellement occupée entre mes 2 enfants et mon travail que l’exercice tombe au bas de ma liste de choses à faire. Ce que j’aime de Lombafit Studio, c’est que je peux y aller le matin avant d’aller travailler. Les exercices donnés par le physio sont très efficaces et sont vraiment spécifiques à mon problème. It feels good to share with people who, like me, live with back pain!

I have been suffering from back issues for 20 years and had to undergo surgery early 2000s. Since then, I try to be as active as possible but lack motivation from time to time. This is exactly why I decided to join Lombafit Studio. I really appreciate the energy of my physiotherapist who helps me push my limits while staying safe. The exercises are never boring, and make me feel happy in addition to keeping me fit. I also love the group atmosphere because I feel like the other members understand what I go through. « Ça fait du bien de partager avec des gens qui vivent eux aussi avec des problèmes de dos! »

Mes maux de dos datent de plus de 20 ans, et j’ai même dû subir une opération au début des années 2000. Depuis, je m’efforce d’être active mais j’avoue manquer de motivation par moment. C’est exactement pourquoi je me suis inscrite chez Lombafit Studio. J’apprécie particulièrement le dynamisme de mon instructeur qui m’aide à dépasser mes limites tout en restant sécuritaire. Les exercices ne sont jamais ennuyeux, et m’aident sur le plan physique aussi bien que sur mon moral. J’adore également l’ambiance de groupe; je me sens moins seule car je sens que les autres me comprennent. Today, thanks to Lombafit Studio, my back feels a lot less fragile!

I have been suffering from back problems since my twenties. Of course I already spoke to my Doctor, and also had an MRI that showed bulging discs at L4-L5 levels. I was used to seeing my osteo when my pain would become unbearable and it would help on the short term. I decided to give Lombafit Studio a try because I wanted to find exercises that would help my back in the long term. I first thought about yoga or pilates, but wanted to make sure my instructor was comfortable treating back issues. From the first session at Lombafit Studio, I realized how my back and abdominal muscles were weak! After exercising I was initially sore the next day but it got better every week. « Aujourd’hui, grâce à Lombafit Studio, je sens mon dos beaucoup moins fragile! »

J’ai des problèmes de dos depuis la vingtaine. Bien sûr, j’en ai parlé à mon médecin, et j’ai déjà passé une résonnance qui a montré des hernies discales L4-L5. J’avais l’habitude de voir mon ostéo qui m’aidait à calmer mes douleurs lorsque j’avais des crises aigues. J’ai d’abord pensé au pilates et au yoga mais je voulais être sûre que mon instructeur s’y connaisse en problèmes de dos. Je suis chauffeur d’autobus, ce qui fait en sorte que je suis assis toute la journée. Malgré que mon siège soit confortable, je ressens souvent des raideurs dans le bas du dos après une longue journée de travail. J’ai décidé de rejoindre Lombafit Sudio pour améliorer ma posture et la force de mes abdominaux.
