At Lombafit Studio, we focus on helping people living with back problems. This means that we are committed to providing the best possible care to get your back better.Since we focus primarily on therapeutic exercises and education of our clients, many ask us why we do not do massages, mobilizations, or manipulations like in other clinics… in short, everything that involves “manual” techniques to relieve the long-term symptoms of our clients.

The answer lies in the question! All customers who benefit from our services have only one desire in mind: to end their back pain for good! Thus, they seek long-term solutions and not only temporary relief. Treatments such as massages, mobilizations, manipulations (described as manual therapy) are certainly effective, but also have limitations. First, the scientific evidence supporting these techniques is contradictory and generally unsatisfactory, especially when they are used alone. Even if “hands-on” therapy provides some relief, the effect lasts usually for a short period only. For those who can afford it, that’s perfect… but most of our customers want something that will make them independent from going to seek therapist care for ever! Hence the solution lies in the practice of regular physical activity. Indeed, exercise, be it aerobic exercise or lumbar stabilization, have shown beneficial effects on low back pain. Not to mention the health benefits on our bodies and, let’s be honest, our extra pounds we need to lose!

Since we focus on providing long-term solutions concordant with scientific research, Lombafit Studio places emphasis on active approaches to treat back pain. Moreover, since our treatment model is based on small group exercises classes,it also allows us to cultivate a community spirit where people suffering from back pain can encourage each other…(Not to mention that affordable cost for working with a certified physiotherapists compared to individual sessions!)
