Lombafit Studio is a combination of physiotherapy, yoga, pilates and fitness specifically tailored for individuals with back pain. Since the classes are given by a physiotherapist, you can be assured that all the exercises will be modified and adapted in a professional and safe manner.
Although the exercises are adjusted to your symptoms, we recommend you consult a physiotherapist for an individual session if you have acute back pain. You will receive hands-on treatments and other modalities to ease your pain. However, you can still join Lombafit Studio once the pain is under control in order to prevent future reinjury.
All classes are given to small group classes and are typically 1 hour long. The first 45 minutes are dedicated to therapeutic exercises aiming to treat your condition. The last 15 minutes is used for educating you about your back pain, answering your questions, complimentary exercises and/or group sharing sessions.
After the initial assessment with your physiotherapist, we will be able to advise you on the optimal treatment frequency and duration. Your therapist will take into consideration your conditions and needs. Please note that whatever the program you decide to join, we offer full money back guaranty if you are not entirely satisfied after X days of treatment.
Because the classes are given by certifed OPPQ physiotherapists, we can provide you with physiotherapy receipts that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We recommend you contact your insurance company prior in order determine the exact benefits you are entitled to.
NO. In Quebec, you are allowed to consult a physiotherapist without requiring a Doctor’s prescription. If you will, you can always discuss with your Doctor about the benefits of joining Lombafit Studio. We can speak directly to your Doctor for you if you prefer.
Considering the limited places and the high demand, we decided to adopt a strict cancellation policy. Hence, please notify us 24 hours in advance if you ever want to cancel a session, otherwise you will have to pay for the missed session.
We recommend you wear comfortable sports clothes and shoes during the sessions. Our main objective is to treat your back pain, but we also want to get you fit along the way. Be prepared to move! (Of course we will respect your pain level and fitness level).
